ISVISIBLE Function

Use: Indicates whether a field is visible or hidden on a template. The result can be used in the condition for a Show Item trigger, Hide Item trigger or Refresh Data Grid trigger. This function is not supported for a collapsible panel, order control, or sub template. ISVALID Function

Use: Checks a diagnosis (ICD) or procedure(CPT4) code for validity. The IFELSE function can be used to display a message to the user. For diagnoses, the ISVALID function can be used to compare ICD-9 code effective and expiration dates to the encounter date. When a diagnosis search is made for an invalid ICD-9 code, the window opens in ICD Legacy Mapping mode, showing the equivalent ICD-10 codes. If an ICD-9 or CPT code has a delete_ind = Y, the function returns an invalid result. OREQUAL Function

Use: Compares multiple fields or variables to a specified value to determine if any of their values are equal. This function uses OR logic where any value being compared may equal the source value in order to return an equal value for the group. You can compare values with or without regard to case (case sensitive or case insensitive). For example, in a case-insensitive comparison, abc is the same as ABC or aBc. Note: The ORNOTEQUAL function compares multiple fields or variables to a specified field or variable to determine if any are not equal. Syntax: {OREQUAL( «no case» , «compare_to» , «value1» , «value2»,,,, )} Arguments: «no case» 1 = case insensitive 0 = case sensitive«compare_to» Value to compare against other values«value1» Value to be compared You can type "PICK: to display the Picklist window for selecting a picklist to determine if any of its values is equal to the source value. «value2»,,,, (to «valuen») Each additional value to be compared Returns: 1 = Equal 0 = Not equal

Use: Looks at the existing fields that are on the template. Template Synopsis

The Template Synopsis function enables you to automatically check the items and runs against all the triggers on the template. The fields which are partially out of bounds on the panel also appear in the Info grid and Information box. Note: The Template Synopsis window opens only if the fields inside Collapsible Panel are partially out of bounds. On the Main toolbar, select Template Synopsis. The Template Synopsis window opens. All the fields which are partially out of bounds on the panel appears on the Info grid. Select the field in the Info grid. The field information appears in the Information box. If the field partially crosses the header of the panel then two separate entries are displayed which are partially out of bounds on panel header and panel border. Note: The field names associated with DBPickList, PickList and Stored Procedure triggers using the deleted Stored Procedures, appear in the Template Synopsis window. Select OK.
