LIKE String Function

Use: Looks at the existing fields that are on the template. Use: Returns a particular Field attribute setting for passed in field name. OREQUAL Function

Use: Compares multiple fields or variables to a specified value to determine if any of their values are equal. This function uses OR logic where any value being compared may equal the source value in order to return an equal value for the group. You can compare values with or without regard to case (case sensitive or case insensitive). For example, in a case-insensitive comparison, abc is the same as ABC or aBc. Note: The ORNOTEQUAL function compares multiple fields or variables to a specified field or variable to determine if any are not equal. Syntax: {OREQUAL( «no case» , «compare_to» , «value1» , «value2»,,,, )} Arguments: «no case» 1 = case insensitive 0 = case sensitive«compare_to» Value to compare against other values«value1» Value to be compared You can type "PICK: to display the Picklist window for selecting a picklist to determine if any of its values is equal to the source value. «value2»,,,, (to «valuen») Each additional value to be compared Returns: 1 = Equal 0 = Not equal

Script Functions for Groups

You can use different script functions to generate triggers for #Groups in templates. The following are the syntax and description of the script functions which support #Groups. You can use the groups as a parameter in the functions. Note: The comparable trigger actions also use the groups as possible parameters. Tools Menu

You can access the tools menu from the Template Editor main window. Command Function Template Edit Log Opens the Template Edit Log window where you can refresh and delete the open templates. Template Sets Opens the Template Sets window where you can create, modify, save, and disable a template. Preferences Opens the User Preferences window where you can set preferences. Update Template Links Opens the Update Template Links window where you can update the template links. Attributes Opens the Attributes Setup window where you can add, update, and remove attributes. Codified Fields Opens the Set Codified Field Attribute Utility window where you can change the values for the KBM.CodifyField attribute in the user mode as well. Auto Check Triggers Opens the Auto Check Triggers window where you can check for trigger syntax of one or multiple templates without opening them individually.
