Set up the Task Recipients by Practice

Users can view and assign tasks to other users or groups while saving an order, when Task Recipients by Practice preference is set to True. In System Administrator, select View > Universal Preferences. Select Workflow. Double-click Task Recipients by Practice. To display users for a current practice while working in the NextGen® Enterprise EHR Orders module or Immunizations module, set the Task Recipients by Practice value to True. Set Up Universal Preferences for Task Recipients by Practice

When selecting users or groups to receive tasks when saving an order, you can set up the Task Recipients by Practice preference to display the recipients for the current practice a user is logged on to. Select System Administrator > View > Universal Preferences. Select Workflow. The Workflow preferences opens. Select the Task Recipients by Practice preference. To display users for a current practice when tasking in the NextGen® Enterprise EHR Orders module, set the Task Recipients by Practice value to True. Select OK to save the value. When a user saves an order using the Save & Task option, the list of users for the current practice displays. Setting up Rights and Preferences for the Immunizations Module

The System Administrator should work closely with the core team of the practice to ensure that appropriate rights, preferences, SAP® Crystal Reports®, other reports, and other tasks are set up for the user groups. The administrator needs to update the Setup when the business needs change for the practice. Some functions and preferences are same for the Immunizations module and the Orders module. Therefore, if you are using the Orders module, ensure that you set up the preferences for the Orders module before you set up the Immunizations module. Send Tasks

You can set up tasks and send to any task recipients. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the Checkout template. Expand the Today's Orders panel. Select the Task link.The To Do template opens. To Do template Enter the values for the following fields: Date Due Priority Subject Category Message Select Save & Close.The Attach window opens. Select an option, and select OK.The Select Task Recipients template opens. In the Available Users/Workgroups section, select one or more users for a practice.
