SAP® Crystal Reports® for Orders

SAP® Crystal Reports® packaged in NextGen® Enterprise EHR include reports specific to test orders. You can generate, view, and print both standard and custom practice SAP Crystal Reports. For test orders, you can use the standard set of orders-based SAP Crystal Reports to create reports for lab and radiology orders for your practice. You can create a report for the current encounter for the current patient. You can also map multiple tests to the same AOE question. Before the standard SAP Crystal Reports for test orders can be used to generate or print reports, set up is required in System Administrator. The reports must also be loaded in your database before you can access and set up those reports. To create and track your Immunization orders effectively, NextGen® Enterprise EHR Immunizations module provides comprehensive functionality that is based on how you set up Immunizations in File Maintenance and System Administrator. Each practice has its own unique Orders and Immunizations workflow. As you use the Immunizations module, consider your primary patient type, such as pediatric and your overall workflow. For example, immunizations orders flow may begin with your physician conducting an office visit, selecting immunizations, and then passing the administration of immunizations to the clinical staff. Orders Module

You can use the NextGen® Enterprise EHR Orders module to create and manage your lab and radiology orders (also known as diagnostic imaging orders). You can perform the following tasks from the Orders module: Place and send lab and radiology orders. Complete unfinished lab or radiology orders for a patient that originate from a bulk order generated through NextGen Care® Population Management Hub. Choosing advanced imaging tests by their appropriate use criteria (AUC) scores when you place a radiology order. Set up order filters for your practice or private use. Set up schedules for future and recurring orders. Add, view, and track order comments from different areas of the Orders module. Enter test results manually or view test results received from an interface. Send lab results to NextGen® PxP Portal. Administering Immunizations

Each patient is unique and the Immunizations module provides flexibility and efficient functionality to help you administer each immunization according to patient needs. After you determine which immunization the patient needs, the next step is to administer the specific Immunization order. Each order requires certain information about the vaccine and other pertinent information such as billing codes, registry, and special patient needs, for example Medicare patients. During the administration process, you can review the VIS history, print the VIS document, track the Immunizations life cycle for each order, and administer a vaccine not in the Vaccine Inventory. After you have administered the immunization, for your records, you can print the Immunization Summary report to view a patient’s immunizations. Setting up Rights and Preferences for the Immunizations Module

The System Administrator should work closely with the core team of the practice to ensure that appropriate rights, preferences, SAP® Crystal Reports®, other reports, and other tasks are set up for the user groups. The administrator needs to update the Setup when the business needs change for the practice. Some functions and preferences are same for the Immunizations module and the Orders module.
