A System Administrator setting controls Sign-Off security for signing off on test orders. If you turn it ON (False), then when someone tries to sign-off on a completed test, they are required to enter a password before they can complete the sign-off.
 
 
  - Open Sysytem Administrator and enter your credentials.
 
  - Select View. 
 
  - Select Universal Preferences. 
 
  - Select Orders Group. 
 
  - Select Disable Lab Signoff Security. 
   
False  means a password is required to complete the sign-off. 
    
True  means no password is needed to complete the sign-off.
     
  - Select to select True  or False. 
 
  - Select OK. 
   
    When in the Orders module, if you select 
Sign-off on the Orders toolbar, the validate window opens. 
    
    You must enter the information in the fields before the Sign-off can be completed.
