For patients enrolled in NextGen® PxP Portal, you can send equipment report PDFs to the portal from a patient's chart on the Encounter History tab.
Perform a patient lookup.
Select a patient who is enrolled in NextGen® PxP Portal.
A list of the patient's encounters displays on the Encounter History tab.
Locate the Encounter that contains the equipment report PDF you want to export.
Select the encounter and select the button.
Select the item you want to export, and select the button.
Select the Send to Patient Portal.
The Patient Portal Document Export window appears.
Perform any one of the following:
In the Comment box, enter your comments, using up to a maximum of 1,000 characters.
Insert a standard response from the Standard Responses pane, and either drag it into the Comment box or double-click it.
If required, you can edit the response or right-click in the right pane to insert practice or person/patient information (for example, the name or address field).
Note: Standard responses can be set up in File Maintenance (practice defined) or can be user defined (customized).

Select Send.
A confirmation message displays for the item you are exporting.
Select OK to complete the export process.
An e-mail notification is sent to the patient's e-mail address, and the item is added to NextGen® PxP Portal document history.
