Set Up Additional Lot Numbers

On the Options tab, you can select additional lot numbers, if the Vaccine Inventory item has more than one Lot Number. On the Vaccine Inventory window, select the Options tab. To add lot numbers, in the Component Lot Numbers section, select the Open Menu button and select New. The Add Vaccine Lot Numbers window opens. Add the Vaccine Lot Number and Description and select OK. If necessary, enter a Vaccine Admin CPT4 code, for example, a no charge administration code for a specific lot number. This alternate code overrides the Administration CPT4 code (default) when a user is completing an immunizations order in the Immunizations module. Select OK. To access the Vaccines Inventory List window in File Maintenance, select System, and then Vaccines Inventory. From the Vaccines Inventory List window, select the Open Menu button and select New to create a vaccine inventory entries. On the Vaccine Inventory window, on the Vaccines tab, select the vaccine from the CDC Vaccine List section. Note: The system updates the vaccines monthly when the Medication Update is run. Create Inventory Entries for COVID-19 Vaccines

You can add entries for any COVID-19 vaccine stock available to your practice in the Vaccine Inventory List window. Open File Maintenance. Under Master Files - System, select Vaccine Inventory. Obtain Test or Code Information for Vaccines for the Patients

You can obtain the test or code information for vaccines using the Vaccine Orders or Inventory list in File Maintenance. Open File Maintenance. From Master Files > System, select Vaccine Inventory or Vaccine Orders. Review the items in the Vaccine Inventory List. To print a master report of all vaccine descriptions and CPT® codes, select the open menu button, and then select Print. Generate a Vaccine Inventory Report to Display Active VFC Vaccines

In File Maintenance, select System > EHR > Vaccine Inventory. The Vaccine Inventory List window opens. To generate a report, highlight a vaccine row, select the Open Menu button, and select Print. The Vaccine Inventory Master File report opens. Select the Filter button on the Report Toolbar. The report filtering options appears on the Settings List pane of the NextGen Report Filter: Vaccine Inventory window. Columns is the default selection. Select the appropriate columns, including VFC. To select the report filters, select Filter2. For this report, set VFC to Equals Y, Vaccine Status to Equals Active. On the Settings List, select Totals and select the Count records check box. Select OK. The report displays the total number of active VFC vaccines. Perform any other reporting action needed (such as printing, memorizing the report, or exporting the report).
