PAQ Icons

The following icons appear in the Provider Approval Queue tab. Icon Description Indicates a NextGen® Enterprise Document item. Indicates a NextGen® Enterprise Image item. Indicates a Note item. Indicates a NextGen Document Management item. Indicates an Orders item. Indicates a high-priority clinical task. For example, if you select a test order in the Orders module and add result information to it when you save the order, it is marked high priority in the Workflow module. You can select the task to notify the provider (or other appropriate clinical staff) that the results for the test have been received. Indicates a Reports item. Indicates an HIE Document item. PAQ Item Icons in the Encounter History and Categories

The PAQ items display the status indicator icons followed by the item name and date on the Encounter History and Categories tabs. The icon indicates the PAQ pending item. The indicates the PAQ rejected item. The indicates the PAQ approved item. For more information, you can view the Current Sign-off Status, Rendering Provider, Reassigned Provider, and Sign-off Comments in the Provider Signoff Details window for the selected item, if applicable. View Items Not Ready for Sign Off

You can view PAQ items not ready for sign-off by providers in the Pending tab. These items cannot be accepted or rejected, but you can add a comment or task for them or reassign them. The number of these items for the selected provider is displayed in red in the item list. Access the Pending tab in the PAQ. In the bottom of the item list, select the Display results not yet ready for sign off check box. The items appear in the list with a icon. View Provider Signoff Details from the Encounters

You can view the current signoff details and comments from the previous provider for a pending, rejected, or signed off PAQ item. You can add provider signoff comments only if the selected item is signed off or rejected. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR, and select a patient from the Patient Lookup window. Open the Workflow module. Select the Provider Approval Queue tab. In the Pending tab, select an item from the list.A preview of the item is displayed in the viewing pane. Select Chart.The Encounters tab opens, with the item selected is attached to. Select the double arrow button. Select the item to view the current signoff details and comments, and select the three dot button.
