Sign off PAQ Items without other Actions

You can sign off pending PAQ items on Worflow module without other actions. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the Workflow module. Select the Provider Approval Queue tab. In the Pending tab, select an item from the list. In the Items list, you can select or deselect all the items together using Select All check box. If you make a selection in either Pending or Rejected tab, the selection is saved for the other tab. You have to make separate selection for History tab. A preview of the item displays in the viewing pane. Information about the selected item appears beneath the list of items in the left pane. To display lab results in a different view, select one of the following beneath the results: Formatted Results Grid results Documents, images, or Urls To view the item in full on your screen, select Full Screen in the Workflow toolbar. Reassign a PAQ Item

You can reassign a PAQ item to a different provider for approval. Open the Workflow module. Select the Provider Approval Queue tab. In the Pending tab, select an item from the list. A preview of the item is displayed in the viewing pane. Add any comments for the selected item. Select Reassign in the Workflow toolbar. The Select a Provider window opens. The window displays all providers within the practice with rights to the PAQ. Select a provider, and then select OK. The item is reassigned to the selected provider. Parent topic: PAQ Items

When you sign off a pending PAQ item, you can also execute saved actions or create new actions. You can save the actions for future use. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the Workflow module. Reject a PAQ Item

You can reject items sent for provider approval. Open the Workflow module. Select the Provider Approval Queue tab. In the Pending tab, select an item from the list. A preview of the item is displayed in the viewing pane. If a comment was not previously entered, you must enter one. Nextgen Healthcare recommends to provide a reason on rejecting any item. Select Reject in the Workflow toolbar. View Provider Signoff Details from Encounter History

You can view the current signoff details and comments from the previous provider for a pending, rejected, or signed off PAQ item. You can add new provider signoff comments only if the selected item is signed off or rejected. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR, and select a patient from the Patient Lookup window. Open the Workflow module. Select the Provider Approval Queue tab. In the Pending tab, select an item from the list.A preview of the item is displayed in the viewing pane. Select Chart.The Encounter History tab opens, with the item selected is attached to. Select the button. Select the item to view the current signoff details and comments, and select the button.
