Orders - Allow Fax	A Yes/No selection for Access Rights to Fax test order detail to an external system.
Orders - Allow Interface Send	A Yes/No selection for Access Rights that allows the user to send order information through the labs interfaces to a third party system.
Allow Registry Query	A Yes/No selection for Access Rights allows the user to do a query of the registry.
Allow Updating Imm Order on Locked Encounter	A Yes/No selection for Access Rights enable the user to update Immunization orders that have a locked encounter.
Allow Updating Practice Filters	A Yes/No selection for Access Rights allows the user to customize the practice filters using the Manage Filters button.
Modify Lab Critical Range Alert	A Yes/No selection for Access Rights allows the user to change the critical range alert for orders
View Lab Critical Range Alert	A Yes/No selection for Access Rights allows the user to see the critical range alerts for orders

Set Up Rights for the Orders Module

To be able to use all of the features in the Orders module, settings in System Administrator have to be set. When set to Yes, it gives system users the rights to create and save orders and perform other functions through the Orders module. CAUTION: If users can access the Medical Records template with the Trend Results order control, they are able to view a patient’s test results. If your practice determines only certain users should be able to view a patient’s test results when they access the Medical Records template, you can set up the applicable Modules, Templates-Medical Records permissions in the System Administrator application. Allow Interface Send NextGen® Enterprise EHR Enables users to send labs results or radiology orders electronically. Allow Registry Query NextGen® Enterprise EHR Enables users to do a query of the registry. Allow Search Orders NextGen® Enterprise EHR Enables users to display the Orders Search bar in NextGen® Enterprise EHR when a patient's chart is open (this is the Default). You can change the setting to turn the search bar display off (set to No). If this option is turned on (set to Yes), but the Enable Search Bar Practice or the Search Bar command is turned off, the Orders Search bar is not displayed in NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
