Option	Description
Show Normal (N) Results Flag	When selected, normal results are marked with a flag.
Show compressed results	When selected, additional information appears such as LOINC code, performing entity, medical director or specimen.
MU Compatible	Make the format of the results Meaningful Use (MU) compatible.
Refresh	Refresh the results display.
Print	Print the order results. A print preview is available.
Fax	Fax results to the selected phone number.
Full Screen	Toggles full screen mode on and off.
Copy	Copies selected text.
Select All	Selects all text shown in the results.
Setup	Sets up critical range results.
Patient Portal	Sends lab results to NextGen Enterprise Patient Portal. Note: This button only appears if your practice has enabled the NextGen Patient Portal function.

Using the Results Panel

You can perform the following actions in the Results panel on the Orders Summary tab: Enter test results coming in with an interface using the Formatted Results, Grid Results, or Documents, Images, and URLs tabs. Manually enter results using the New Results Entry tab. Manually enter related documents using the New Document and Images Entry tab. View and add tracking comments. Send lab results to NextGen® PxP Portal. The actions available on the Results panel toolbar change depending on which type of results are being viewed or created. Display Test Order Results in a Formatted View

On the Orders Summary tab select a completed test. To expand the Results panel, select the down arrow. Select the Formatted Results tab at the bottom of the Results panel. The results appear with the patient detail at the bottom of the Results panel. To print these details, select Print on the toolbar. Note: If you update a patient's demographic information in the NextGen® Enterprise EHR Modify/Update Patient Information window, before you log out of the current session of NextGen® Enterprise EHR, this change may not be reflected in the patient's demographic information in Formatted Results. To display the updated demographic information on the Formatted Results tab, log out or exit NextGen® Enterprise EHR; and then log back on. Parent topic: Formatted Results Tab

Results in Meaningful Use Format

When importing test results from an outside testing entity, you can chose to display those results in a Meaningful Use (MU) compatible format. The MU format is set by a check box on the Results pane in the Orders module. When the check box is selected, the following new fields appear: MRN (Medical Record Number) Reported date, if available Lab address, if available Specimen information, if available LOINC codes, if available Medical director, if available Observation date, if available Result status, if available Performing entity's county and country, if available Prefix and suffix with the patient name, if available Display Results in Meaningful Use Format Tests with More than One Specimen Type Parent topic: Formatted Results Tab

View results for all orders using the pre-defined All filter or view only results for orders displayed in a user-defined private or practice filter.
