Clinical Reconciliation Results

You can import the results data from the Consolidated Clinical Document Architecture (C-CDA). You can import and reconcile results received from an external C-CDA to the Orders module. An audit record logs in Advance Audit when you modify user permission, reconcile the lab result or create a reference order. Layout of the Clinical Reconciliation Results Tab The Results tab displays the details of the provider and patient and also the different actions to perform. Using the Orders Summary Tab

The Orders Summary tab provides order information in the following panels: Orders panel. View, update, and track existing orders and create orders for the current patient. Results panel. View test results from an interface or manually enter test results and related documents for the current patient. This panel is collapsed when you open the Orders Summary tab, but you can expand it to view its contents. Sign-off and Tracking Comments panel. View and add order tracking or sign-off comments. Completed Results Tab View

From the Results tab, you can do the following: View completed lab test results by their short, long, or NextGen description in a flow sheet format. View results for all orders using the pre-defined All filter or view only results for orders displayed in a user-defined private or practice filter. Display results for similar tests together on the flow sheet using LOINC codes. Assign delegates to view confidential lab results. View or add comments for order results. LOINC Support and Results Grouping

The Orders module supports the Logical Observation Identifiers Names and Codes universal coding for test results (known as LOINC®) . This feature allows you to see test results for the same type of test on the same line even if the tests were performed at two different labs. By way of example, if one lab says "White Blood Count" in the results message and one returns "WBC" in the results message, the LOINC system has a standard ID for test result components that brings them together on the same line in the Results flow sheet. Important: When viewing results in the Orders module on the results flowsheet, they are grouped per a user defined preference: Lab Short description,Lab Long description or NextGen description. If results are grouped by NextGen description, the result names can be either the clinical name, the consumer name or the long common name. Formatted Results Tab

The Formatted Results tab provides the following toolbar options. Option Description Show Normal (N) Results Flag When selected, normal results are marked with a flag. Show compressed results When selected, additional information appears such as LOINC code, performing entity, medical director or specimen. MU Compatible Make the format of the results Meaningful Use (MU) compatible. Refresh Refresh the results display. Print Print the order results. A print preview is available. Fax Fax results to the selected phone number. Full Screen Toggles full screen mode on and off. Copy Copies selected text. Select All Selects all text shown in the results.
