Select an existing encounter or create an encounter.
Open the template that contains the Graphical Exam Tool (GET) component.
The GET component window opens and displays the predefined profile settings.
Select an image and finding, and then annotate the GET image.
Scroll to the bottom of the GET component and expand the
Reason to visit
section.
Select any row in the
Reason for Visit
section.
The image and new image description appear in the
PHOTO
pane.
On the main toolbar, select
Save
.

Update Existing Descriptions
The Graphical Exam Tool (GET) allows you to update existing descriptions of patient images with the finding name and region description when they get attached to findings. The image description for each finding is unique. The finding with the same name and region is updated as Finding Name - Region Description(x) , where x increases the image description starting from 2. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Select a patient. Select an existing encounter or create an encounter. On the Encounter History or Categories tab, select any image. The image opens. On the main toolbar, select Save. The Save Image File window opens. Enter the Image Description, select the Save image as, and select OK. The image is saved to the patients chart. Open the template that contains the GET component. The GET component window opens. A new Images pane appears on the left side of the tool and enables you to associate images and findings more easily into the workflow. Note: The GET stacks the image tabs instead of d

Integrate a Document Macro to Filter Finding Images
Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Select a patient. Select an existing encounter or create an encounter and open the template that contains the Graphical Exam Tool (GET) component. The GET component window opens. In the REASON FOR VISIT pane, select the Menu icon, and then select Manage Reasons for Visit. The Reasons for Visit window opens. From the list at the bottom of the window, select the reason and select Add. From the IMAGES panes, select the Images check box, select FINDINGS and annotate the GET image. A new row is added in the Findings Data Grid with the findings details. An icon appears in the Findings Data Grid row denoting that multiple images are attached to the finding. On the NextGen® Enterprise EHR toolbar, select Save. All the images saved to the patient's chart are renamed to the image description that is Finding Name-Region Description( x. x). From the Categories tab, open the document that contains the GET images and select Generate. The generated document displays the

Annotate an Image
Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Select a patient. Select an existing encounter from the Encounter History or create an encounter. Open the template that contains the Graphical Exam Tool (GET) component. The GET component window opens. The findings and exam tools are displayed for the selected location and provider in GET component. Note: The GET template can be opened in NextGen® Enterprise EHR without selecting the Reason for Visit. From the REASON FOR VISIT pane, select the reason for visit that you want to attach the finding. To change profile settings, select Settings from the Options and Settings Popup Menu . The Graphical Exam Tool - Settings window opens. Note: To edit profile settings, you must have the Operations Right for Administration > Edit EHR Component Profiles enabled in the System Administrator. Select the tab that contains the image you want to annotate first. The tab for the first image appears by default. Adjust the view or manipulate the image using the image toolbar
