You can launch the diagnosis search window from a Problem List Pop-Up trigger to display only the diagnoses and ICD codes that have been assigned to the patient. You can then select an ICD code from the list. For example, you may want to associate an existing ICD code with a procedure for billing purposes. Note: In this mode, you cannot search All Diagnoses, Favorites, or Categories; use ICD Legacy Mapping; or view, add, or select ICD synonyms. Enter your search criterion in the text box at the top of the diagnosis search window. You can enter all or part of the clinical description or ICD code or description. Select Search. The search results grid displays the patient problems that match your search criterion. To close the diagnosis search window without making a selection, select Cancel. To select an ICD code, double-click the result row you want, or select the row and select Select. The ICD code is automatically entered in the template field assigned that value. The diagnosis search
