Automatic Document and Image Attachment to Test Results

With document interfaces, radiology documents that are imported can be automatically attached to an order through NextGen® Clinical Message Manager and an interface agent.

The automatic portion works if you have the document interface. If the document is sent with an HL7® interface, it links the document to the order automatically. The MSH, PID, PV1, OBR and OBX segments must be sent correctly for this to work.
