Admin Menu

All of the options in the Admin menu require specific user rights and permissions and are available only to users in a System Administrator role. The basic options included in the Admin menu are as follows:

Tools OptionDescription
Work Flow ManagerEnables setting up Out-of-Office status, PAQ, and Workflow Delegates. For more information, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community, and download the latest Workflow Module Guide for NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
Advanced Audit SetupEnables selection of items for the Advanced Audit application. For more information on the Advanced Audit application, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community, and download the Advanced Auditing Installation Guide and the Advanced Audit and Significant Events Cross Reference Overview.
User PasswordDisplays the Change Password window and enables you to change your password.
Copy User PreferencesDisplays the Copy User Preferences window. This function is available only when no patients are selected.
E-mail ProfileEnables changing an e-mail profile for the Workflow module.
System PasswordEnables setting up the user name and password for an external system.
Modify Inclusion/Exclusion ListEnables modification of a user's Inclusion or Exclusion List. For more information, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community, and download the latest Patient Demographics Guide for NextGen Enterprise.
Share Inclusion ListEnables sharing an existing Inclusion List with other users. For more information, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community, and download the latest Patient Demographics Guide for NextGen Enterprise.
Active ModulesDisplays the Orphaned Sessions window for unlocking a patient session while Edit mode is in effect.
