Adding and Tracking Comments for Immunizations Orders

You can add and track comments for orders throughout the Immunizations order process. Note: After an Immunization within an order is signed-off by selecting Sign-off from the Immunization or Order Summary tab, you cannot add any additional Sign-off comments. The Sign-Off and Tracking Comments section on the Orders Summary tab displays a comment indicating which Immunizations have been Signed-off. You can, however, add tracking comments by accessing the Sign-off and Tracking Comments window. Add Comments for a New Immunizations Order

You can add comments to new Immunizations order when selecting vaccines or administering an Immunizations order. When creating the Immunization order (on the Select Vaccines tab or the Vaccine Details tab), select the Tracking tab. The tracking comments tab opens. To add a comment, select Add. The Sign-off and Tracking Comments window opens. Select the comment type (Sign-off or Tracking) and enter your comments. If you have created My Phrases, select My Phrases to select a phrase from the list. To save your comments, select Save or Save & Task to send the comments to the appropriate user or group. View or Add Comments from the Orders Summary Tab

You can view and add comments from the Orders Summary tab in the following ways: If comments exist for an order, the Orders Tracking Comments indicator displays next to the order on the Orders Summary tab. To add or view order comments, select the Orders comments tracking indicator next to the selected order and the Sign-off and Orders Tracking section displays the previous comments. To add comments, select Add and continue with step 2 in View or Add Comments for an Updated Order. If an order has no comments, the Orders comments tracking indicator does not display next to the order on the grid. To add comments, select Add and continue with step 2 in View or Add Comments for an Updated Order. You can also add comments for an order or view existing comments for an order by selecting the Tracking tab on the Orders Summary tab. Follow the steps in View or Add Comments for an Updated Order.
