The action panel enables you to enter new calls, make updates to existing calls (depending on your permission settings), and create tasks when logging a call. 
  
  
 The Action Panel has a top tool bar that contains:
 
  - Call Type: A new call can be logged by selecting a type from the list
 
  - Date: Defaults to the current date and time
 
  - After hours: Select if the call is after business hours for your practice
 
  - Cancel: Cancels the current call
 
  - New Call: A new call is opened
 
 
 Note: : There is no way to delete a saved call. The Cancel button is the only way to delete an unfinished call.
 
 
 Outside of the basic workflow for call types, from the Action Panel you can:
 
  - Use pre-configured comments called My Phrases and Manage Phrases
 
  - Perform an administrative action if needed
 
  - Release info of logged PHI
 
  - View scheduled appointments for the selected patient
 
  - You can Add  and Add & Task the call types, and Save & Reply the call task.
