View the Document Status Indicator

For patients enrolled in NextGen® PxP Portal, you can view the document status in the Encounter History or Categories tab.
  1. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
  2. On the Top Toolbar, select Patient.
    The Patient Lookup window opens.
  3. Select a patient who is enrolled in NextGen® PxP Portal.
    A list of the patient's encounters appear in the Encounter History.
  4. In the Encounter History, locate the patient encounter that contains the patient document.
    The status indicator appears to the left of the document.
    • A flag icon indicates the document is in pending status and was not signed off by all signees.

    • An X icon indicates the document is in rejected status because it was rejected by the encounter provider.

    • A check mark icon indicates the document is in accepted status and has been signed off by all signees.

    Sent to NextGen® PxP Portal icon appears next to the document icon in Encounter History or Categories tab once the document is sent to NextGen® PxP Portal.
