View Patient Chart Access by Other Users
Your practice may enable you view a list of other users who are currently accessing the same patient's chart in NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
To use this feature, the Warn on Multi Edit check box must be selected on the NextGen® Enterprise EHR list of Practice Preferences in File Maintenance. For more information, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community, and download the File Maintenance Preferences Guide for NextGen® Enterprise.
- From the NextGen® Enterprise EHR Main menu, select View and then Patient Access.
The Patient Chart Access window appears. This window also appears for the other users who are viewing the patient's chart.
The title bar displays the name of the selected patient. The window lists the name of each user who is accessing the chart and identifies the user's workstation, date and time of access, and phone number.
