View HIE Document Validation and PAQ Status

In NextGen® Enterprise EHR, you can view the Health Information Exchange (HIE) documents CDA validation and PAQ status details on the Categories tab.
  1. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR, and select a patient from the Patient Lookup window.
  2. Select the Categories tab.
  3. Select Tree View from the list.
  4. Select HIE Documents category.
  5. To expand the category, do one of the following:
    • To expand all categories, select Category Options , and select Expand All Categories.
    • To expand the selected category, select .

    The following CDA validation icons appear with the HIE documents.

    • The icon indicates that a document passed CDA validation.
    • The icon indicates that a document did not pass CDA validation.
    • If neither icon appears indicates that a document is not yet validated.

    The following PAQ status icons appear with the HIE documents.

    • The icon indicates the PAQ pending item.
    • The indicates the PAQ rejected item.
    • The indicates the PAQ approved item.
