Before you begin
To display the HIE documents on the
Categories tab, you must configure the
Sent HIE Document Category option in the StoreHIEDocuments Rosetta agent.
In NextGen® Enterprise EHR Categories tab, you can view the imported, and exported Health Information Exchange (HIE) document categories in the My Categories tab based on user-level configuration.
- Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR, and select a patient from the Patient Lookup window.
- Select the Categories tab.
- Select

The My Patient History Settings window opens.
- Under the My Patient History Settings | Categories section, select Select Categories.
A window opens displaying a list of available categories.
- To display the imported HIE documents, select HIE Documents category from the list.
- To display the exported HIE documents, select HIE Documents (Sent) category from the list.
- To display the HIE consent documents, select HIE Consent category from the list.
- Select Apply.
- Select Tree View from the list, and select My Categories tab.
The selected HIE document categories are displayed in the
My Categories tab.
