Manage Order Instances

You can view the practice and process time of an instance and you can also deactivate, update, and delete order instances in the AutoRelease(ARU) - [Service Mode] window. However, you must restart the Windows Service after the addition or change of instances. Note: If you stop the Windows Service, it stops all instances that are scheduled to release that day, not just the specific instance. Even if you have resumed the service, if the instance time has expired then the instance does not get released. Select Start , and enter Command Prompt. Run the Order Instance on Demand

After you set up the Auto Release Windows service, you can release future and recurring orders on demand. Select Start , and enter Command Prompt. Right-click Command Prompt, and select Run as administrator. The Administrator: Command Prompt window opens. Enter the appropriate directory to change to the NextGen root folder. Note: Ensure that your changed directory has the NextGen root folder. In Command Prompt, enter NextGen.EMR.Lab.AutoRelease.exe "1". Auto Release Utility - Windows Service

The Auto Release Utility integrates with the Orders module to track future and recurring orders scheduled for sending across lab or radiology interfaces. With the Auto Release Utility, you can: Schedule an order today and set it to release after six months. Schedule an order to release at multiple intervals within six months based on your needs. The Auto Release Utility offers two installation options: Windows-based service, which automatically restarts after interruptions. Standalone mode, which operates independently. You can install only one format at a time, selecting the one that best meets your requirements. Generate a Statement Exceptions Report

To generate a Statement Exception report, do the following: Open NextGen® Enterprise PM. Select File > Print Forms > Statements. The Statement Options window opens. From the options window, select the Check for Statement Exceptions check box. Do one of the following: To preview the statements, select Preview. To print the statements, select Print. To export the statements, select Export. If one or more statement exceptions are found, the following prompt appears: Exceptions Found. Would you like to view the report now? Do one of the following: To view the Statement Exceptions report without previewing, printing or exporting the statements, select Yes. The Statement Exceptions report is generated and displays on the screen.
