After you set up the Auto Release Windows service, you can release future and recurring orders on demand.
- Select Start
, and enter Command Prompt.
- Right-click Command Prompt, and select Run as administrator.
The Administrator: Command Prompt window opens.
- Enter the appropriate directory to change to the NextGen root folder.
Note: Ensure that your changed directory has the NextGen root folder.
- In Command Prompt, enter NextGen.EMR.Lab.AutoRelease.exe "1".
Note: The parameter 1 is passing for invoking the Auto Release Windows service user interface.
- Select Enter.
The NextGen security logon window opens.
- Enter your user credentials, select your enterprise and practice, and then select Logon.
The AutoRelease(ARU) - [Service Mode] window opens.
- Select the appropriate instance from the Instance list.
- To override the scheduled run time and run the instance, select Run Now.
The order instance is released, and the
Previous Run Time section displays the previous instance run time.
Note: Auto-releasing orders on demand does not change the original Auto Release setup time. You do not need to reset the original time for future and recurring orders after using the
Run Now option.
If the scheduled run has already been executed and an order created for the day, selecting Run Now again will not result in duplicate orders.
