Verify Provider Enrollment

Beginning with NextGen® Enterprise EHR, 5.9.2020.1 or higher, you must ensure that enrolled providers are migrated to the latest Surescripts® messaging standard, Surescripts 6.1.

  1. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
  2. From the View menu, select eRx Status.
    The eRx Status window opens.

  3. From the User list, select <All Users>.
  4. From the Provider list, select <All Providers>.
  5. From the Message Type list, select UpdatePrescriberLocation.
  6. If needed, select a date range.
  7. Select Search.
    The search results appear.

    The most common issues include:
    • A suffix in Last Name
    • PO Box listed in Prescription Pad Address
    • An invalid DEA Number
