Update LOINC Codes

  1. Open Orders Management Console.
  2. Select LOINC.
  3. Select Download.
  4. It can take several minutes to download and load the file because of the large number of records to process.
    Each LOINC code has a Component Description, a Long Common Name and User Description (see the How To for details).

    Notice that you can select a filter and show only New information or only Different information. The default filter is No filter.

    When you perform a save, a pop-up window reports how many of each type of update have been made (NEW, DELETED, CONFLICTS, or DIFFERENCES).
