Stopping active recalls for an expired patient involves the following steps:
Update date of expiry in the patient records
Stop Active Recalls
Open the Modify Person Information or Modify Patient Information window to update the expired patient data.
Select the Expired check box.
The Expired Date field becomes active.
Enter the Expired Date for the person or patient.
Do one of the following the application message that appears asking if you want to stop active recalls:
Select Yes.
If Recall Plan Stop Reason tracking is enabled in Practice Preferences, the Reason for Stopping Recall application message opens.
Select a reason for stopping the plan and select OK.
All active recalls are canceled.
Select No.
The active recalls remain in the system.
A message appears asking you to stop active recalls for the expired patients when you open the Modify Person Information or Modify Patient Information window or Chart for the expired patient in NextGen® Enterprise PM.
Select Cancel to return to the Modify Person Information or Modify Patient Information window.
