Set Up the Practice Preference for an Orders Module Default Printer

To print SAP® Crystal Reports®, you must have one or more specific reports set up through the SAP Crystal Reports application, and you must have assigned a default printer. Select File Maintenance > System > Practices. Select a practice. Select Preferences. Select Orders Module in the Preference List. In the Reports section, select the drop-down arrow on the Default Printer field. Select in the list to select the printer to be used. Select OK to save the value. SAP® Crystal Reports® for Orders

SAP® Crystal Reports® packaged in NextGen® Enterprise EHR include reports specific to test orders. You can generate, view, and print both standard and custom practice SAP Crystal Reports. For test orders, you can use the standard set of orders-based SAP Crystal Reports to create reports for lab and radiology orders for your practice. You can create a report for the current encounter for the current patient. You can also map multiple tests to the same AOE question. Before the standard SAP Crystal Reports for test orders can be used to generate or print reports, set up is required in System Administrator. The reports must also be loaded in your database before you can access and set up those reports. Set Up the Report Path for SAP® Crystal Reports®

In order to print a SAP® Crystal Reports® you must have one or more specific reports set up through the Crystal Report application and assigned to a printer. For test orders, you can create a report for the current encounter for the current patient. Make sure that you have the System Administrator setting for Reports defined. Selecte System Administrator > View > Universal Preferences. The Preferences window opens. Select Reports. Make sure the paths are defined. Select OK to save the value. User-defined reports are saved in the appropriate directory for easy access at a later time. After you have created the reports that you need, select which reports you want to use for each testing entity in File Maintenance > Practice Preferences > Orders module > Reports. Select Test Favorites for a Practice

Select File Maintenance > System > Practices. Select a practice. Select Preferences. In the Preference List, select Orders Module. Select Order Module > Lab/Rad tab. Select the folder to select one or more of the Order Test Favorites lists that have been created for your database. These tests must have already been created in File Maintenance. Change Existing SAP Crystal Reports

In the Report Dialog, select Report Setup. Select the report to modify. Make needed changes. Note: You can only change the filter selection (System, Enterprise, or Practice) when you set up or generate a report. Select Update to save changes to the report. Verify the Report Path Set up for SAP Crystal Reports

To print a SAP Crystal Report, you must have one or more specific reports set up through the SAP Crystal Reports application and assigned to a printer. For the Immunizations Summary report or Immunization Detail reports, the path is defined in the Report path. Select OK to save the value.
