Set Up the Practice Preference for the SAP® Crystal Reports® Location

You must enter the path where SAP® Crystal Reports® are stored before you can use them Select File Maintenance > System > Practices. Select a practice. Select Preferences. Select Orders Module in the Preference List. Select the Lab/Rad. In the Reports section, select the Open Menu button and select Add. Browse to the location of the folder where your reports are stored. Double-click to add that folder-path to your Reports list. Select OK to save the value. To print SAP® Crystal Reports®, you must have one or more specific reports set up through the SAP Crystal Reports application, and you must have assigned a default printer. Select File Maintenance > System > Practices. Select a practice. Select Preferences. Select Orders Module in the Preference List. In the Reports section, select the drop-down arrow on the Default Printer field. Select in the list to select the printer to be used. Select OK to save the value. SAP® Crystal Reports® for Orders

SAP® Crystal Reports® packaged in NextGen® Enterprise EHR include reports specific to test orders. You can generate, view, and print both standard and custom practice SAP Crystal Reports. For test orders, you can use the standard set of orders-based SAP Crystal Reports to create reports for lab and radiology orders for your practice. You can create a report for the current encounter for the current patient. You can also map multiple tests to the same AOE question. Before the standard SAP Crystal Reports for test orders can be used to generate or print reports, set up is required in System Administrator. The reports must also be loaded in your database before you can access and set up those reports.
