Set Up the Practice Preference for the SAP® Crystal Reports® Location

You must enter the path where SAP® Crystal Reports® are stored before you can use them Select File Maintenance > System > Practices. Select a practice. Select Preferences. Select Orders Module in the Preference List. Select the Lab/Rad. In the Reports section, select the Open Menu button and select Add. Browse to the location of the folder where your reports are stored. Double-click to add that folder-path to your Reports list. Select OK to save the value. SAP® Crystal Reports® for Orders

SAP® Crystal Reports® packaged in NextGen® Enterprise EHR include reports specific to test orders. You can generate, view, and print both standard and custom practice SAP Crystal Reports. For test orders, you can use the standard set of orders-based SAP Crystal Reports to create reports for lab and radiology orders for your practice. You can create a report for the current encounter for the current patient. You can also map multiple tests to the same AOE question. Before the standard SAP Crystal Reports for test orders can be used to generate or print reports, set up is required in System Administrator. The reports must also be loaded in your database before you can access and set up those reports. Set Up the Report Path for SAP® Crystal Reports®

In order to print a SAP® Crystal Reports® you must have one or more specific reports set up through the Crystal Report application and assigned to a printer. For test orders, you can create a report for the current encounter for the current patient. Make sure that you have the System Administrator setting for Reports defined. Selecte System Administrator > View > Universal Preferences. The Preferences window opens. Select Reports. Make sure the paths are defined. Select OK to save the value. User-defined reports are saved in the appropriate directory for easy access at a later time. After you have created the reports that you need, select which reports you want to use for each testing entity in File Maintenance > Practice Preferences > Orders module > Reports. Verify the Report Path Set up for SAP Crystal Reports

Print Order Reports

In the Orders module, you can print the requisition for any of the orders in the list displayed, if you have set up reports for your practice in File Maintenance. Once the reports have been set up, you can use the printer button on the toolbar to create and print a report for a specific order. For more information about setting up SAP Crystal Reports for Orders in File Maintenance, go to the NextGen Healthcare Success Community and download the Orders Module Setup Guide for NextGen® Enterprise EHR. On the Orders Summary tab, select a test order. On the Orders Summary Top toolbar, select Print. If you have not completed the required File Maintenance setup for reports, an error message appears.
