Verify the Report Path Set up for SAP Crystal Reports

To print a SAP Crystal Report, you must have one or more specific reports set up through the SAP Crystal Reports application and assigned to a printer. In System Administrator, select View > Universal Preferences. Select Reports. Ensure that the appropriate paths are defined. For the Immunizations Summary report or Immunization Detail reports, the path is defined in the Report path. Select OK to save the value. User-defined reports are saved in the appropriate directory for easy access at a later time. Note: The default reports filter is for an .rpt file type (SAP Crystal Reports). Set Up the Practice Preference for an Orders Module Default Printer

To print SAP® Crystal Reports®, you must have one or more specific reports set up through the SAP Crystal Reports application, and you must have assigned a default printer. Select File Maintenance > System > Practices. Select a practice. Select Preferences. Select Orders Module in the Preference List. In the Reports section, select the drop-down arrow on the Default Printer field. Select in the list to select the printer to be used. Select OK to save the value. SAP® Crystal Reports® for Orders

SAP® Crystal Reports® packaged in NextGen® Enterprise EHR include reports specific to test orders. You can generate, view, and print both standard and custom practice SAP Crystal Reports. For test orders, you can use the standard set of orders-based SAP Crystal Reports to create reports for lab and radiology orders for your practice. You can create a report for the current encounter for the current patient. You can also map multiple tests to the same AOE question. Before the standard SAP Crystal Reports for test orders can be used to generate or print reports, set up is required in System Administrator. The reports must also be loaded in your database before you can access and set up those reports. Access Crystal Reports

Once the reports are copied, you can access them to begin the set up process. From the Main menu, select File > Reports > Crystal Reports. The Report Dialog window opens. From this dialog you are able to set up your SAP® Crystal Reports® and printers, as well as generate and print the following report types: This Encounter for current patient- Only for the current encounter for the selected patient. All Encounters for current patient- For all of the encounters for the selected patient. All Encounters for all patients- For all of the encounters for all of the patients in the database. Set Up a Report

Select Report Setup on the Report Dialog window. The Report Setup Dialog window opens. Select a report from the Report File list. Note: Only reports in the directory specified in the Universal Preferences appear. Select a report type from Report Type list. Selecting a Report Type assigns the report to the report type. Select Location for your report. Only providers at the selected location can access this report. If you leave Location blank, providers from all locations are able to access this report. From the Printer list, select a printer to print the selected report. If necessary, select the Filter By option. If necessary, select the Use Report Server check box. Note: To use this feature you must have the NextGen Report Server configured. Enter a user-defined description for the selected report in the Description field. Set Up the Practice Preference for the SAP® Crystal Reports® Location

You must enter the path where SAP® Crystal Reports® are stored before you can use them Select File Maintenance > System > Practices. Select a practice. Select Preferences. Select Orders Module in the Preference List. Select the Lab/Rad. In the Reports section, select the Open Menu button and select Add. Browse to the location of the folder where your reports are stored. Double-click to add that folder-path to your Reports list. Select OK to save the value.
