Disable the Display of the Immunization Registry Tab

When accessing Immunization schedules, the Registry tab automatically appears. If your practice is not currently accessing data from registries, you can disable the display of this tab. Access the Immunizations Practice Preferences. Clear the Show Registry History and Forecast tab check box. Select OK at the bottom of the Imm tab. Select the Default Registry

You can select your practice's default registry. This registry is selected by default, when a user creates or updates Immunizations orders. If your practice has multiple locations, you can set up the Default Registry for location. For more information on how to select default registry for location, see Select the Default Registry for a Location. Access the Immunizations Practice Preferences. Select the Default VIS Category

You can select your practice's default VIS category so that you can view a patient's VIS documents by selecting the default category on the Categories tab. Access the Immunizations Practice Preferences. Select the VIS category from the Default VIS Category list. Select OK at the bottom of the Imm tab. In File Maintenance, select System > Practices > Preferences. The Practices List window opens. Locate and then double-click your practice. The Modify Practice Information window opens. After setting up the Vaccine Inventory and the VIS documents, determine the Immunizations options for your practice. View Patient's Evaluated Immunization History and Forecast

To help you determine when a patient should receive the next immunization, view a patient’s immunization history and forecasted next due immunizations from your practice’s registry on the Registry tab. If a dose is deemed invalid, the system displays this in the Evaluated Immunization History section. For example, a patient was too young to receive a certain immunization. Note: The Evaluated Immunization History section displays the same data as the Reconciliation module. The Chart view tab data, however, may not display the same data that appears on the Registry tab. When you perform the Reconciliation process, the Evaluated Immunization History data matches the data in the Chart view. In the Orders Module, select the Immunizations tab. Select the Registry tab. Select the appropriate registry. To display a patient’s Evaluated Immunization History and Immunization Forecast, select Query. After the query process completes, the system displays the patient’s immunization and forecast data
