Display Test Order Results in a Formatted View

On the Orders Summary tab select a completed test. To expand the Results panel, select the down arrow. Select the Formatted Results tab at the bottom of the Results panel. The results appear with the patient detail at the bottom of the Results panel. To print these details, select Print on the toolbar. Note: If you update a patient's demographic information in the NextGen® Enterprise EHR Modify/Update Patient Information window, before you log out of the current session of NextGen® Enterprise EHR, this change may not be reflected in the patient's demographic information in Formatted Results. Display Results in Meaningful Use Format

On the Orders Summary tab, select one of the test orders that has results reported. To expand the Results panel, select the down arrow. The test results appear. Note: To view all documents and images that can be accessed using a URL link, select the Documents, Images and Urls tab. Select the MU Compatible check box. Formatted Results Tab

The Formatted Results tab provides the following toolbar options. Option Description Show Normal (N) Results Flag When selected, normal results are marked with a flag. Show compressed results When selected, additional information appears such as LOINC code, performing entity, medical director or specimen. MU Compatible Make the format of the results Meaningful Use (MU) compatible. Refresh Refresh the results display. Print Print the order results. A print preview is available. Fax Fax results to the selected phone number. Full Screen Toggles full screen mode on and off. Copy Copies selected text. Select All Selects all text shown in the results. Setup Sets up critical range results. Patient Portal Sends lab results to NextGen Enterprise Patient Portal. Note: This button only appears if your practice has enabled the NextGen Patient Portal function. Enter Test Results from a Medical Records Template

The Result order control on a Medical Records template, displays the New Results Entry tab from the Orders module. This tab enables you to manually add and save test results for a lab or radiology order. It displays the order number and panel name. Note: You must have permission to add test results; otherwise, the results are not visible. To display the order number and panel name, a trigger must be set up to assign the order number to the order control field. If it is not, the New Results Entry tab is blank. For more information on order test results, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community and download the latest Orders Module User Guide for NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Enter comments (if any) in the Panel Comment box. To enter a collection date and time, select the Coll. Date/Time field, select the list to display a calendar, and then select the applicable date and time in the calendar. Select the test result status from the Result Status list. The default is Final. Viewing Test Results from a Medical Records Template

The Trend Results order control field on a Medical Records template displays a Results view from the Orders module that enables you to: Review all lab test results for the current patient. Graph the values for tests that were repeated for the patient. Link to web resources for patient education, clinical decision support, and provider reference. You can display all results (default filter) or use practice-level or private user filters to view only results that meet selected criteria. Review Test Results

You can open the order and result detail in the Orders Summary tab. Open the Orders module. The Results tab is in view by default. If the default initial tab view has been changed, select the Results tab to open it. The results appear for the default All filter. To view results for a private or practice filter, select the filter in the Results tab Filters bar. The results appear for the selected filter. To view additional information for a result, select the result value in the Collection Date & Time column. The bottom of the Results tab shows the result value, status, applicable test units, any abnormal flag, the normal range, and any comments. To copy the text, select Select All and Copy. You can paste it in another document or template.
