ePrescribing Provider Migration Utility

The NextGen® Enterprise EHR ePrescribing Provider Migration utility allows you to perform an easy upgrade to the latest Surescripts® messaging standard. The ePrescribing Provider Migration utility must be run for any installation upgrading to NextGen® Enterprise EHR 8. The utility allows you to perform an easy upgrade to the latest Surescripts messaging standard that is compliant with National Council for Prescription Drug Program's (NCPDP) SCRIPT version 2017071. Note: The ePrescribing Provider Migration utility only needs to run if you are upgrading from any version other than 5.9.2020.1. If you are upgrading from a NCPDP 2017071 compliant versions (5.9.2020.1), the ePrescribing Provider Migration utility was ran when upgrading to 5.9.2020.1 and prescribers are already in the new directory. ePrescribing Requirements This section describes the ePrescribing requirements required to upgrade to Surescripts messaging standards.
