Open the Provider Test Action Template
You can open the Provider Test Action template to document and view a patient's appointment and contact information. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. View Appointments for Multiple Providers
You can view appointments for multiple providers at once. Open the Appointments tab. Select the Providers list available at the upper right corner. Select the check box for each provider to view the appointment schedule. The Appointments button displays the count of the appointments, and the appointments list displays the appointments for the selected providers. View the eRx Status for a Medication with a Prior Authorization Request
If you sent an electronic prior authorization request through the Initiate ePA link, you can track the eRx status of the medication. From the View menu, select eRx Status. The eRx Status window opens. eRx Status For Message Type, select PA Initiation Request. Enter any remaining criteria as needed, and then select Search. Verify Provider Enrollment
Beginning with NextGen® Enterprise EHR, 5.9.2020.1 or higher, you must ensure that enrolled providers are migrated to the latest Surescripts® messaging standard, Surescripts 6.1. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. From the View menu, select eRx Status. The eRx Status window opens. eRx Status From the User list, select <All Users>. From the Provider list, select <All Providers>. From the Message Type list, select UpdatePrescriberLocation. If needed, select a date range. Select Search. The search results appear. eRx Status CAUTION: If any enrolled provider has an unsuccessful UpdatePrescriberLocation message, resolve the issues and update provider enrollment in File Maintenance. View Order Management Details
You can view order details on the Order Management Details template. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. On the Home Page template, select the Order Management link. The Order Management template opens. In the Order Status Detail/actions grid, double-click an order. The Order Management Details template opens with the order details. Assign eRx Status User Permission
You can assign permission to users to access the eRx Status window and view the details. In System Administrator, select your practice and group. Select the Rights tab. Select Operations > eRx Status Dialog > Multi-Provider Search or Multi-User Search. In the Access Rights section, select Yes. NextGen System Administrator Select Save. Parent topic: User Permissions
