Immunizations System Rights and Permissions

System Administrator needs to assign appropriate rights and permission to user groups so that only appropriate groups can perform certain tasks. The default setting for all rights is set to Yes. Permissions for Adding NDC IDs to the NDC Library

If a user adds an NDC ID while administering an Immunizations Order in the Immunization module, the system uses the NDC ID for billing purposes. If the practice’s NDC Library does not already contain the identified NDC ID, and the user has rights to add NDC IDs to the NDC Library in File Maintenances, the system also adds the new NDC ID in the NDC Library. To prevent the system from updating File Maintenance when certain users add NDC IDs in Immunizations, the practice can restrict the update rights for those user groups in System Administrator. In System Administrator, select the required user group. Open Rights tab. Expand MODULES > File Maintenance. Select NDC Libraries, and then clear the Update check box under Access Rights. Setting up Rights and Preferences for the Immunizations Module

The System Administrator should work closely with the core team of the practice to ensure that appropriate rights, preferences, SAP® Crystal Reports®, other reports, and other tasks are set up for the user groups. The administrator needs to update the Setup when the business needs change for the practice. Some functions and preferences are same for the Immunizations module and the Orders module. Therefore, if you are using the Orders module, ensure that you set up the preferences for the Orders module before you set up the Immunizations module.
