Patient Demographics

You can review a selected patient's demographic information in the NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine Patient Demographics template. You can also add or edit the default pharmacy, historical addresses, reminders, emergency contacts, and employment. To update other patient information, use the Modify Patient Information window. To add a patient, use the Add Patient Information window. For more information on person and patient search and to view patient information, refer to the Person and Patient Lookup in EHR and the Person and Patient Information sections. Modify Patient Information in NextGen® Enterprise EHR

Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Select the Patient icon or select File > Select Patient. The Patient Lookup window opens. Enter the search criteria and selectFind. TheMatching Recordslist displays the records that meet the search criteria. Right-click the desired patient and select Open from the menu. The Modify Patient Information window opens displaying the demographic information of the selected patient. Modify the fields as required and selectOKto save the changes. Managing Patient Cases in NextGen® Enterprise EHR

The Case Management functionality enables users of both NextGen® Enterprise EHR and NextGen® Enterprise PM applications to group patient encounters based upon common data into cases. Cases may include workers' compensation, occupational health (non-injury), ambulatory care, group health PT as well as other encounter details. This enables users to submit only the medical-record data of each patient that is required to meet insurance and legal obligations. Add Person Information in Nextgen Enterprise EHR

You can add a person on the Add Person Information window in NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Select File > New > Person. The People Lookup window opens. Select New. The Add Person Information window opens. Add Person Information window Enter the details in the required fields that appear in red color and any additional information you want to include for the person.
