Patient Grid Columns

Columns	Description
Risk Level	Patient's Accountable Care Organizations (ACO) Risk Level.
Portal Enrollment	Patient's portal enrollment status. For more information on the portal enrollment status, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community and download the latest NextGen® PxP Portal Provider Guide for NextGen® Enterprise.
Last Encounter Date	Patient's last encounter date in the MM/DD/YYYY format.
Next Appointment Date	Patient's next appointment schedule.
Appointment Provider	Authorized healthcare provider.
Insurance Bal	Total balance due from all applicable insurances.
Patient Bal	Outstanding patient balance.
Total Bal	Total balance due from insurance and the patient.
Person ID	Patient's person id. The Person ID property can be added from the Template Notify Event by setting up a trigger on the Patient Registry component. For more information, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community and download the latest Templates User Guide for NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
Patients	Number of patients included in the NextGen Care® Population Management Hub report.
Displayed	Number of patients displayed in the patient grid.
Checked	Number of patients selected from the patient grid.

Filter Patient Information in Patient Grid

You can filter the patient information listed in the patient grid. The patient information listed in the patient grid is filtered using the standard filter control available in the header of each column. In NextGen Care® Population Management Hub, do one of the following: From Cohorts, run a report. From My Lists, run a list. From Appointment Book, filter the patients. The patient list appears in the patient grid. In the patient grid, select the filter icon available on the column header. The filter value opens. Select one of the following from the list. Select All for all patients in the column Select Blanks for patients with the blank column Select \ for patients with a name or a non-blank value Select the name of the patient. Patient Grid

The patient grid displays the patient demographic details, financial and next appointment details. When you run the NextGen Care® Population Management Hub report, patient information appears in the patient grid. The patient grid displays the patient demographic details, patient's risk level (color-coded), patient portal enrollment status, financial information, and the next appointment details. Note: If multiple appointments are scheduled for a patient on the same day, the next immediate appointment of that day appears in the Next Appointment field when you run the report. When reports are filtered based on appointment schedule in the Appointment Book tab, the patient grid displays additional columns. Person or Patient Information Settings for Adding Appointment

The following table describes the fields that are available in the Patient tab of the Add Appointment window. Note: The information for these fields are filled in from the Add Patient Information or Update Patient Information window. Field Description Last Last Name of the patient. First First Name of the patient. Middle Middle Initial of the patient. Birth Date Birth Date of the patient. Age Age of the patient. Sex Sex of the patient. Linked This option is automatically selected, indicating a person or patient record is linked to the appointment. Patient Portal A patient portal enrollment status icon indicates the patient's current NextGen® PxP Portal status. A different icon displays for each status, such as not enrolled, pending, and completed. Viewing Patient's NextGen® PxP Portal Enrollment Status

If the practice is part of NextGen® PxP Portal, you can view the patient's NextGen® PxP Portal enrollment status on the Patient Information Card (PIC). If the patient is not enrolled in NextGen® PxP Portal, you can send an enrollment invitation email. Note: The patient enrollment status indicator is available only when the NextGen® PxP Portal license is active. Icon Description Veteran Icon Appears when you select the Veteran check box for the patient on the Demographics tab of the Add/Modify Patient Information window. Enroll a Patient in NextGen® PxP Portal

If the Patient Portal trigger action is Enrollment, you can set up a NextGen® PxP Portal account for the selected patient through NextGen® Enterprise EHR. For more information on the enrollment process, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community and download the latest NextGen® PxP Portal Provider Guide for NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Ask your system administrator which NextGen® Enterprise EHR template and field to use. In NextGen® Enterprise EHR, select the template that contains the Patient Portal trigger, and then select OK. For more information, see Select a Template.. Select the Patient Portal trigger on the applicable field.
