You can filter the patients based on the NextGen® Enterprise PM schedule data to support care management work-flows such as care team huddles and pre-visit planning. Note: The Appointment Book tab is not available in NextGen Care® Population Management Hub, if the View access rights for Modules > Medical Records > Patient Appointment is turned off in the System Administrator. You can either use one filter or all the filters on the Appointment Book tab to filter the patients. If you do not select any filter such as locations, date, time, resources, and events, then the system responds as if all the options for the filter were selected. For example, if you do not select locations, then all the locations of that practice appears, relative to other filters selected. When the patients are filtered based on the appointment schedule, The Patient Grid consist of appointment related columns. Patient Grid

The patient grid displays the patient demographic details, financial and next appointment details. When you run the NextGen Care® Population Management Hub report, patient information appears in the patient grid. The patient grid displays the patient demographic details, patient's risk level (color-coded), patient portal enrollment status, financial information, and the next appointment details. Note: If multiple appointments are scheduled for a patient on the same day, the next immediate appointment of that day appears in the Next Appointment field when you run the report. When reports are filtered based on appointment schedule in the Appointment Book tab, the patient grid displays additional columns. Note: The following columns appear in the patient grid when they are enabled on the Grid + Data tab on the User Settings window. Filter Patient Information in Patient Grid

You can filter the patient information listed in the patient grid. The patient information listed in the patient grid is filtered using the standard filter control available in the header of each column. In NextGen Care® Population Management Hub, do one of the following: From Cohorts, run a report. From My Lists, run a list. From Appointment Book, filter the patients. The patient list appears in the patient grid. In the patient grid, select the filter icon available on the column header. The filter value opens. Select one of the following from the list. Select All for all patients in the column Select Blanks for patients with the blank column Select \ for patients with a name or a non-blank value Select the name of the patient. Apply Custom Filter

You can apply custom filter to filter patient information in the patient grid and in the My Lists tab. Open NextGen Care® Population Management Hub In the patient grid or on My Lists, select the Filter icon available on the column header. Select the Custom filter from the list. The Custom Filter window opens. In Filter based on, select the required filter. Select the required condition and value from the lists available next to the Add. If you want add more conditions, select Add. Note: To delete additional rows in the Custom Filter window, select Delete. Select OK. The patient information as filtered using custom filter opens.
