Open NextGen® PxP Portal Inbox

You can open the NextGen® PxP Portal message window in NextGen® Enterprise EHR Workflow module. Open the Workflow module. The Workflow window opens. Select the Patient Portal tab. Note: The Patient Portal tab does not appear if the NextGen® PxP Portal license has expired. The Patient Portal inbox opens. Select the user list, and then select the provider or user that you are a delegate for. The Patient Portal inbox opens for the selected provider or user. To see all communication sent and received through the NextGen® PxP Portal in one view for the selected patient, select the Patient-Specific View toggle. Parent topic: NextGen PxP Portal

Viewing Patient Portal Enrollment Status

You can view the NextGen® PxP Portal enrollment status on the Add Person Information and Add Patient Information windows in NextGen® Enterprise EHR and NextGen® Enterprise PM if the practice uses NextGen® PxP Portal. You can select the NextGen® PxP Portal enrollment status icon to open the Patient Portal Enrollment window. NextGen® PxP Portal Document Export

You can export a patient document from the patient chart in NextGen® Enterprise EHR to the patient NextGen® PxP Portal account. You can export the patient document from the Encounter History or the Categories tab. Note: NextGen® Enterprise EHR enables you to export documents to the patient's NextGen® PxP Portal account in a number of other ways: From the File menu, you can select Export Patient Documents, or can select Patient Portal > Documents > Send EHR Document. You can create a custom rule in the Provider Approval Queue (PAQ). You can set up a Launch Document template trigger in Template Editor.
