Select an item from any tab in the PAQ.
Select
Chart
in the toolbar.
The patient's chart for the selected item opens.

Open a Patient's Chart from the Appointments List
You can open a chart from the appointment list for the selected patient to view the details. To open a patient’s chart from the Appointments tab, do one of the following. Double-click an appointment in the appointments list. Select an appointment in the appointments list, and then select Chart in the toolbar. Parent topic: Appointments

Open Patient Charts with Direct Sign Off of PAQ Items
You can open the patient chart after signing off the Provider Approval Queue (PAQ) item. Open NextGen® Mobile.The Hub view opens. Select PAQ, and then select an item from the list.The PAQ item opens. Open PAQ item Select Sign w/ action.The list of available action sets appears. The list of available action sets Note: Action sets that contain only unsupported actions are not available for selection. Unsupported actions in an action set are not run on the PAQ item. Select the action set to open the patient chart.If the action set contains only supported items, the sign off process completes and the patient chart opens. If the action set contains unsupported items, a message appears stating that there are one or more unsupported actions and NextGen® Mobile can run only supported actions. To complete the sign off, open the patient chart, and run other supported actions, select Continue. To return to the PAQ item without running supported actions, select Cancel. Open a Patient’s Chart from the Worklog

Open the Patient Information Bar in the Patient Chart
Before you begin You must set the Practice and user preferences, to enable the Patient Information Bar in the patient chart. For more information on the patient chart, go to the NextGen Healthcare Success Community and download the latest Accounts and Patient Records User Guide forNextGen®Enterprise PM. Open NextGen® Enterprise PM. From the main toolbar, select Chart . The Patient Lookup window opens. Search for and select the patient using the available search criteria. The patient chart opens displaying the Patient Information Bar, where you can exclusively select Patient Chart Lookup and Open Menu to search for patients, set an active patient, and manage the NextGen® PxP Portal enrollment.
