Manage Cases from Encounter History

Before you begin

Ensure that the View Case Management check box is selected in the user-level settings to enable case management on the Encounter History tab. Any changes made to the Patient's Encounter preferences occur only after you reload the Encounter History tab.

The Encounter History tab in NextGen® Enterprise EHR provides access to the cases and encounters available for the selected patient.

  1. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR, and select a patient from Patient Lookup window.
  2. On the Encounter History tab, select a case, select Case Options, and then select Properties.
    The Case Management window opens.

  3. Make necessary modifications to the selected case or the related data.
  4. Select OK.
