Access Educational and Clinical Resources

You can access patient education information, external provider references and other clinical resources from specific web sites that you determine. Note: Before using the Resources feature, you must set up the specific web site URLs inFile Maintenance > Practice Preferences > Resources. Do any one of the following: From the patient's medication list, select a medication. Patient Education Browser

With Healthwise Patient Education installed in NextGen® Enterprise EHR, you can perform the following: Access Patient Education Browser to search for internal and external patient education material. Perform context-sensitive searches of Healthwise Patient Education and practice defined patient education material in NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Access Healthwise Knowledgebase through the internal browser. Save patient education material to a patient's chart or a patient's NextGen® PxP Portal account. Delete the saved patient education documents on an unlocked encounter in the Encounter History. Open Patient Education Browser You can open the Patient Education Browser window to search for patient education resources. Find a Topic by Entering Search Criteria You can use various filters in internal or external sources to refine your search for patient education topics.
