When two or more employers exist for a person or patient, the Primary indicator can be easily changed from one employer to another. Only one employer can be flagged as primary.
Open the Person Information or Patient Information window for the desired person or patient.
Select the Employer tab.
Select the row for the employer to be flagged as primary.
The Primary column is currently blank.
Select the Open Menu button, and select Make Primary Employer.
The Primary column now displays Y.
Note: On the Employer Maintenance window, the Primary Employer check box is automatically selected for the employer.
