Modify or Delete Employer Information in Patient Charts
- Open the Person Information or Patient Information window for the desired person or patient.
- Select the Employer tab.
- Select the employer row.
- To modify the employer information, do the following:
- Select the open menu
icon, and then select Open.
The Employer Maintenance window opens.CAUTION:Modifications made to any field in the Demographics section of the Employer Maintenance window result in updates to the Employers master file in File Maintenance. - In Employment Profile, update the information as needed.
- Select OK.
- Select the open menu
- To delete an employer from the patient record, select the open menu
icon, select Delete, and then select OK.
- To flag an employer as primary, select the open menu
icon, and then select Make Primary Employer.
The Primary column now displays Y.Note: In the Employer Maintenance window, the Primary Employer checkbox is automatically selected for the employer.
