eRx Workgroup
The Group Tasking feature enables you to associate specific users with workgroups. When users are added to a workgroup, they receive all tasks assigned to the particular workgroup and can accept any of the available tasks. Any task accepted by a user is no longer available in the workgroup. All tasks accepted by a user are always displayed, regardless of the workgroup that the user is signed into.
For instance, users may rotate schedules and work for different doctors and departments. When users log on to the system, they may need the ability to associate themselves with an alternate group. Any tasks the user accepted previously remain with the user; however, no tasks assigned to the original workgroup display in the user's Task List. Instead, the tasks associated with the newly chosen workgroup become available for the user to accept. Tasks are not assigned to a user until they are accepted by the user.
