Create an eRx Task List Category

Before setting up the task list categories, you must set up the appropriate user rights and permissions. The access rights for the edit task category list permissions is disabled by default in NextGen® Enterprise. Contact your system administrator to modify the user rights and permissions.

  1. In NextGen® Enterprise EHR, from the Main menu, select File > Workflow.
    The Work Flow window opens.
  2. Select Setup Tabs from the Tasks menu.

  3. Select Setup Categories.
    The Task Category List window opens.

  4. Select Add.

  5. Enter a name for the category.
    The category is added to the list.

  6. Select Close.
