In NextGen® Enterprise EHR, from the Main menu, select File > Workflow. The Work Flow window opens. Work Flow In the Tasks pane, select Add. For Task Class, select EHR. The New Task window opens. New Task Select Assign To. The Select Task Recipients window opens. Select Task Recipients Select New Group. TheNew Group window opens. New Group Enter the name and description of the group. Assign Tasks to Users and Work Groups
You can create and assign a patient's clinical tasks to other users and work groups. For more information on clinical tasking, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community and download the latest Workflow Module Guide for NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR, and select a patient from Patient Lookup window. On the Patient Information Card (PIC), select Profile Options and then select New Task from the list. The New EHR Task window opens. To add a recipient or work group, select Add corresponding to Assign to.The Select Task Recipients window opens, where you can select and add recipients or work groups for assigning the task. Before setting up the task list categories, you must set up the appropriate user rights and permissions. The access rights for the edit task category list permissions is disabled by default in NextGen® Enterprise. Contact your system administrator to modify the user rights and permissions. In NextGen® Enterprise EHR, from the Main menu, select File > Workflow. The Work Flow window opens. Select Setup Tabs from the Tasks menu. Work Flow The Setup Task Tabs window opens. Setup Task Tabs Select Setup Categories. The Task Category List window opens. Task Category List Select Add. Task Category List Enter a name for the category. The category is added to the list. Add a Task to the NextGen® Enterprise EHR Workflow
You can create tasks for a To-Do List for the NextGen® Enterprise EHR Workflow module in NextGen® Document Management. If the Enable Workflow and the Create Workflow task after document is filed options are activated in the Document Type master file, then each time you select the File button when filing a document, NextGen® Document Management displays the Workflow prompt. When you select Cancel on the To Do form and then select File for the same document, NextGen® Document Management does not display the Workflow prompt again. Open NextGen® Document Management. Search for and open a document. Open the Create Task window by using one of the following methods: On the keyboard, select Ctrl+T. On the viewer toolbar, select the create task button. Right-click the document, and then select Create Task. On the NextGen® Document Management toolbar, select Tasks > Create Task. Optional: In EHR Send To, select the NextGen® Enterprise EHR user or group to whom you want to send the task. Only use
