You can create user-defined tabs in the task list. By creating tabs and then assigning each task to a category, you can view tasks assigned only to a particular category or a group of categories.
In NextGen® Enterprise EHR, from the Main menu, select File > Workflow.
The Work Flow window opens.
Select Setup Tabs from the Tasks menu.
The Setup Task Tabs window opens.
Note: The All Tasks tab is hard-coded and cannot be edited or deleted. You cannot assign task list categories to the All Tasks tab. All available tasks display on the All Tasks tab.
Select Add.
The <New Tab> opens.
Enter a name for the new tab.
Assign a specific Task List Category to the tab.
Note: Only the tasks assigned to the specific Task List Category display on this tab at run time. If you do not assign any Task List Categories to a tab, all Tasks display on the tab.
