Enterprise Chart and NextGen® HQM

With Enterprise Chart enabled, if a measure requires an action not associated with an encounter, NextGen® HQM looks across the enterprise to see if that action has occurred. For example: A provider in one practice documents influenza as complete for measure CMS 147 – Prev Influenza. Any provider who meets denominator performance in another practice in the enterprise also receives numerator credit.

If a measure requires an action on each encounter, Enterprise Chart is not taken into account. A provider who does not perform the action does not have that incremented in the numerator.

NextGen® HQM calculates and displays enterprise-level results for the following measures for the Accountable Care Organization (ACO) program, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), Comprehensive Primary Care Plus (CPC+), and Quality Measures (formally PQRS - Physician Quality Reporting System).
