Tall Man Medications
Tall Man casing for medications enables you to visually distinguish between medications that have similar names. When there are similar medication names, they will display with some of the letters capitalized. For example, acetazolamide and acetohexamide have similar names. In the First Data Base listing, the display names are acetaZOLAMIDE and acetoHEXAMIDE and display as such in the Medications module and medication search windows. You can enable and disable Tall Man Medications at the practice level in File Maintenance. Note: Users can override the setting in the NextGen® Enterprise user preferences.
